President / CEO
Tracy has been passionate about Christian radio since childhood. He was born one month after WEEC started broadcasting, listened to the station at his home in West Liberty every day, all day, and he was creating radio dramas complete with sound effects by age 7. He dreamed of returning to the station he loved as an announcer one day, but he had no idea how much God had in store for his life.
He earned a degree in Radio Production and Broadcast Management from Liberty University to help him pursue his passion, and he landed his dream job as afternoon announcer on WEEC in 1988. Later, he succeeded Mike Maddex as General Manager, and in 2011 he became the CEO of Strong Tower Christian Media, the parent organization of WEEC and WFCJ. Tracy also serves on the Board of Directors for The Rock Radio Network, a mission radio network in Puerto Rico, and thanks God for a career beyond his wildest dreams.
Vice President of Radio Operations
Jeff has over 30 years of experience in American Christian Media, but the kicker is that he is a Canadian from southern Ontario! He graduated from Moody Bible Institute and started his career as the Director of Radio Production at In Touch Ministries with Dr. Charles Stanley. After that, he managed stations in Michigan and Colorado, became the Senior Manager at Briargate Media/Focus on the Family, and served as the Director of Client Services at Walter Bennett Agency. To add to all of that, Jeff currently serves as our Vice President of Radio Operations.
He is married to Anne and has five children–three from his first wife Ruth Ann, who died of brain cancer in 2003, and now Thomas, and Michael. “Strong Tower’s commitment to the spoken word radio content along with music is one reason I’m here! Also, serving alongside some wonderful and talented people helps me grow each day.”
Vice President of Administration & Development
When Kevin Boggs joined the Strong Tower Christian Media team as Vice President of Administration and Development in January 2011, it seemed like God had been preparing him for this job his whole life.
Born and raised in Springfield, Kevin graduated from Tecumseh High School. He then earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies, and later a Master’s in Pastoral Counseling from Cedarville University. Using his gifts and training, he has also served as a pastor, full-time evangelist, counselor and administrator.

She graduated in 1985, and they married ten days later. Vicki officially joined the staff of Strong Tower Christian Media in 2011 as Executive Assistant. Her primary role is to provide administrative support to the Executive Team. She enjoys interacting with listeners, volunteers, and donors. Prior to 2011, she worked in the field of Christian Education for sixteen years. She says, “The environment here is a lot different from teaching school, but it’s so exciting to see firsthand what God is doing in the lives of our listeners through the ministries of WEEC & WFCJ.” Tracy and Vicki have three grown children and are excited to welcome their first grandchild this coming September.

STCM Receptionist and Office Manager
If you’re one of the many listeners that call in to WEEC or WFCJ each day, you have probably wondered who the sweet voice on the other end of the phone is. It belongs to our Receptionist and Office Manager, Cathy Ackley. Years ago when Cathy and her husband Steve moved to Springfield to be closer to their church, she learned of a job opening at her favorite Christian radio station, WEEC. So, Cathy applied and began working at WEEC in the summer of 1983, taking over for a secretary who was leaving to have a baby. She later left in 1985 to be a mother herself and, in God’s perfect timing, returned 21 years later. “I was so thankful to be able to return to WEEC after my kids were grown, I consider it a joy to work for the Lord in the ministry here.” Cathy and Steve are blessed with two grown children, one granddaughter, and a grandson who will be arriving in July.
